Culturally we treat the development of psychosocial attributes very differently from physical attributes and other technical skills. This has always struck me as a terrible mistake.

It's as if we expect changes to occur by merely adopting a perspective or 'mindset.' Some even expect the work to be done for them—either by someone else or by some chemical intervention. We accept that development of notable competence in any other context takes years of intentional, consistent practice.

The mission of Narrative Excavation is to apply this simple rule to building competence in managing psycho-social wellbeing and actualizing our life vision. It offers a practice-centered introspective psychology framework that demystifies introspection, systematizes it, and makes it as accessible as learning any sport or craft.
